AboutDavid Garcia is a music educator, community activist, and artist based in Mountain View, California. As a Chicanx neurodivergent genderqueer individual, David draws from his own experiences of struggle and success to create equitable, compassionate, and courageous spaces for learning and growth. He fundamentally believes that the arts are a tool for individual and collective empowerment, fostering a more equitable and just world for generations to come.

As a Mexican-American, queer, neurodivergent individual, I've often navigated the world of music and art feeling like I needed to forge my own path.
